Join our 13-week hybrid internship program as a Pipeline Dreams: High School Teaching Assistant!
In this unpaid, 10hrs/week hybrid internship position you will serve as a mentor and lead for a group of 5 high school students interested in medicine and facilitate our research curriculum online on Tuesday evenings. This dynamic educational experience includes networking with Black and brown physicians weekly and three punctuating in-person experiences (1) Hands-On Healthcare Experience with local clinicians (2) Medical Education Conference and (3) Student Research Expo. Gain hands-on experience in research instruction, youth mentorship, and community health programming while leading a small group of future healthcare changemakers — an ideal opportunity to strengthen your medical or graduate school applications.
